PlayStation LifeStyle has posted details they have received from their inside source. 2.40 has been long awaited. 2.40 is introducing a feature everyone wants. As posted on PlayStation LifeStyle,

2.40 should include: Access XMB chat features from any PS3 game. XMB Trophies where 70% of current titles will support them straight away Video Coding and groundwork for the Movie Store (Out Sept)

Another rumor has stated that it will released before MGS4 releases. So June 12th is the expected deadline.

There is now a website (^^) for the XMB. This will give us news on whats going on with XMB and games coming out etc.

Don't get too excited, Hydra. People have been speculating and spreading rumors about XMB like it's Brangelina's new baby. That site also looks like a retard made it. :D
