Well, I think anough time has passes since the things that happened. I have been forgiven I do understand that its not forgotten. I will not troll or flame your threads. I would like to just come in here and say hello to some of the friends that I still have here and post from time to time. Good luck to you all in R2, looks like you have built up a solid looking roster.

Whats up man? Are you only primary on COD5 or R2 now? I've been SOCOM all the way.....

Must guys are on R2. Very few are on CoD5. No ones on Socom.

I can't bring myself to get R2.... most people are telling me its an epic fail compared to the 1st. I just bought Fallout 3 (which totally rapes BTW) and then I know I'm getting the full band set of Guitar Hero World Tour for Christmas from my sister, then I MIGHT get COD5 then maybe, just maybe R2 (mainly for story)

dude, R2 is an epic failure. Even on the story side man. I was hoping the story would be the one saving grace for me when I bought the game but man was I ever wrong. The SP story is the weakest point imo. My next game will be KZ2 or Bionic Commando (whichever one comes first ). I am getting alot of mixed reviews for CoD5 as well so I highly doubt I will get that either. My list right now is Bionic Commando, KillZone 2, Resident Evil 5, God of War III, Heavy Rain, Dark Void and Uncharted 2 Among Thieves. So, out of all of those only BC and KZ2 have competitive online multiplayer so I am banking on them lasting (BTW, I am 100% confident in KZ2 lasting us for at least a year....you guys are going to fucking love it)

IDK man, these are tough decisions. Maybe I'll just stay on Socom up until killzone 2 comes out. Matt will definitely check your LBP levels out, just send him a message and/or buddy invite again. If he brings it over to my house again I'll definitely heart your level for you.

hey i'm mostly on r2 now, although for the last two weeks i wasn't on at all...last week i went to vegas to support one of my friends he fought for the WEC world championship and lost...but also verizon took forever to install my interent service

I couldnt care less about a socom story. There was no story in warhawk either and I love that game. What bothers me is the third person camp fest. That is all the beta was and I dont see how they could have changed that for the retail version.

yeah there are campers.... but what game didn't have campers? I had to get over that fact and some of the fun for me is learning how to outplay the campers (kinda like how I used to rAAAAApppe campers in RB62).

idk man, i was so sold on that game prior to playing the beta. Even when I played the beta I was almost a 3.0 k/d but I just could not stand the fact that guys would literally run their character into a wall just so they could look down a hallway and then at the last minute pop out and use their red dot for a quick headshot. I had that happen too many times against a bunch of scrubs so I cannot even imagine how frustrated I would be against good players. Plus the spawn camping was horrendous. When will developers learn to have rotating spawn points to minimize spawn camping. KZ2 has done a good job of solving that by have a class that can deploy remote spawn points, called the tactician appropriately enough. I just cant see buying a game that I will never play come February of next year.

not that this matters, but ranked games in Socom are all single elimination.... so there is no Spawn camping in ranked. When you are playing on a good team in Socom you'll understand why its super dopper fun to poop on campers. Anyway, its all good man, It's just not the time of game you enjoy.

For anyone thinking about it though you can find a copy of the game only on ebay for around 20-24 bucks.

yeah, it could have potential for the future though if they work on it. as of right now, the only reason i go in home is if i have absolutely nothing to do and no one is on playing any game. then i will go in and waste some time

Heres my input on this thread..

First off, HI DAVID!!!!

Fallout 3 - good game, I just get tired of single player real fast (only played 3.5 hours of it)

SOCOM was good for the first month, after that it got to repetitive for me, but its a good game, fun at times to.

Call of Duty WaW is the best active game out ATM. I mean, everyone went to it because CoD4, thats what sold me.

KILLZONE 2 better be as good as it hyped up to be. I'm hoping to play it until CoD4:2 next year end of November.

KZ2 is 110% worth every piece of hype about the game. It is a cross between CoD4 and Team Fortress 2. Plays like a cross between Rfom and CoD4. A little more strategic but it is no where near the campfest that Socom is

Well, I know that Lukas Got a 360 and Gears of War 2 now. I was thinking of upgrading my service back to gold and picking up a few games for my 360. Anyone else picking up GoW2 and/or Left 4 Dead (Game rocks).

P.S. Did you ask for the 360 or did they just randomly get it for you Luke?

Umm, it was kind of random BUT I had been talking alot about the system/game comparison between the two and I kept saying that the 360 does seem to have some good games and it would be cool to play gears and halo to see what all the fuss was about.
